Local accountancy company pledges support to local hospice

The Colchester branch of the top 12 accountancy firm MHA has pledged to support St Helena Hospice for the next year by signing up to become one of the local charity's Corporate Membership partners.

St Helena’s Corporate Membership Scheme is a yearlong partnership which offers local businesses an opportunity to respond to their corporate responsibility and support their community, as members make a donation of £1,000 to the hospice.

Cara Miller, partner at MHA said: “We are delighted to become a corporate partner of St Helena Hospice. It is a cause that resonates with many of our staff within the firm, and we are strongly committed to supporting local charities and communities when we can.”

Jo Clarke, supporter engagement fundraiser at St Helena Hospice, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome MHA to our Corporate Membership Scheme. Their donation will go towards the running of the hospice, helping pay for vital equipment and key clinical and domestic staff, including nurses and doctors, so we can continue to provide excellent care to hundreds of patients and families every year.”

MHA joins existing Corporate Membership partners: Weeks Construction Limited, Imperial Finishes Ltd, Essex Mechanical Services, Eco Heating Store, Jones & Whymark, Enigen, Whitehouse Solutions and Rose Calendars.
