Find out moreFundraise your way as an individual, as a group, at school or at work and raise vital funds to help ensure more local people have dignity and choice at the end of life.
Find out moreWe also help adults in north Essex who have been bereaved, regardless of how or where their loved one died. Bereavement support is also available for children and young people, 17 and under if their loved one was receiving our care.
We have expertise in hospice care, specialist palliative and end of life care.
We work closely with local health and social care providers and other voluntary organisations and charities. Our services are intended to complement and not replace NHS or local authority services.
As a local charity we rely heavily on the help and generosity of our fundraisers, donors and volunteers. Without them we wouldn’t be here.
We work with other local health and social care partners to promote the My Care Choices Record, a document that allows people to record and share their choices for care, including for their end of life care. Find out more about the My Care Choices Record and Register.
Your donation, large or small, can make a big difference, giving more local people dignity and choice at the end of life.

When you make a donation to St Helena Hospice, we are charged transactional fees by other companies, including fees for processing payments made to us, looking up addresses and validating bank account details.
We are very grateful to our donors who offer to offset some of these fees with a minor addition to their total amount. This is however completely optional and we are very grateful for your support whether or not you choose to contribute to processing fees.
CloseWe are able to claim an extra 25p on every £1 on your donation amount for no extra cost to you, as long as you are a UK tax payer; have paid enough income tax or capital gains tax in that tax year; and are donating your own money. For more information about Gift Aid, please visit www.gov.uk
