50-Challenge-News-T.jpg
At St Helena Hospice we have once again teamed up with Birkett Long Solicitors for the Birkett Long £50 Challenge which has returned for 2021 with teams from a range of companies from north Essex signed up to take part.

The Birkett Long £50 Challenge gives local businesses the opportunity to get creative; developing fun and effective ways to turn the £50 they are given by Birkett Long into as much money as possible for St Helena Hospice. The challenge kicked off on Saturday 1st May and the teams have until Saturday 31st July to grow their £50 into more charity cash.

Since its inception 9 years ago in 2012 the £50 challenge has raised over an amazing £273,000, all of these proceeds will be used to help local people face incurable illness and bereavement, supporting them, their families, friends and carers.

Sarah Wilson, St Helena Hospice’s fundraising manager said “It’s so great to be able to hold the Birkett Long £50 Challenge in 2021 after the struggles and hardships we’ve all faced over the last year. We are so lucky to have received support from such amazing companies and are excited to see the ways in which they transform the £50!”

The companies taking part in the Birkett Long £50 Challenge are:

Reeman Dansie

Full Power Utilities

Codair

Mr O Removals

Aston Lark

Darcy's Olde Sweet Shoppe
